A road into the desert

These who travel through Central Asia, can't hardly miss it.
The Silk Road.
Once it was gorgeous and pumpous. Colors, Silks, Spices, Camels.
Here started trade, centuries ago between Asia, Europe and the Orient.
Nowadays the Silk Road is a rush highway. Truck Caravans, without camels, mostly unromantic and busy.
But a tiny wind of Dschingis Khan, the osman Kings and their ancestors is blowing through the heat.
And shows the colorful and golden Mausoleums and Mosques.
And behind them, there is thousend of kilometers, step and desert lying.
